Laughter is Good for your Health!
So I recently posted a funny video of going back to school and it opened up my eyes of how much that laughter is needed. We need to laugh for our health! Anybody appreciates and loves a good laugh.
Laughter has been shown to lead to reductions in stress hormones such as cortisol and epinephrine. When we laugh the brain also releases endorphins that can relieve some physical pain. Laughter also creates a stronger immune system. So take some time to laugh!
Manage your hormones! Release stress.
Strengthen the Core. Laughing 100 times is the equivalent to
10 minutes on the rowing machine or 15 minutes on a bike!
A Positive Mind Frame
Change your perspective and you day.
Make your surroundings better. Laughter is contagious, so if you bring more laughter into your life, you can change the atmosphere around you.
Fight illness better. Creates a stronger immune systems
and are actually able to fight off illness better.
Give Longer Life! According to recent research in the
Archives of General Psychiatry, elderly optimistic people were less likely to die than pessimists.
