The holidays are upon us in full swing and so are all the parties, food, cocktails, added calories and pounds! Ug, how do we keep up? Well, it's the same answer as it is the rest of the year...Diet and Exercise. I've given some tips on how to conquer all the holiday parties during this season on my blog so check that out as well.
I also say amp up your workout! Every year I do a "12 Days of Christmas Workout" that will definitely burn off a few of those Christmas cookies or cocktails. You can make it as intense as you want or modify it for ANY fitness level.
Start with day 12 and work your way down the list, but the catch is each time you add a day to the "12 days of Christmas" you start back at the top of the "days". Start with day 12 and you will actually do it twice before you move to day 11 and then back to 12, 11 and 10 then 12, 11, 10, 9 and so on, adding on each time but starting with 12 until you get all the way down to 1. 9 Suicide Pushups
8 Hip Dips with Stability Ball
7 Box Jumps
6 Spider Pushups
5 Burpees with a Pushup

1 Bear Crawl
