Should I workout with the sniffles?

Getting the sniffles but not sure

if you should exercise?

So this is the time of year we begin to experience the common cold or even just allergies. You're not down and out but just not feeling 100%. A good rule of thumb is if your symptoms are from the neck up, runny nose, sniffles, headache, you can still exercise but TAKE IT EASY. Stick with lighter activity and not as intense as you would normally exercise. Maybe walking or light weights. Sometime exercise can even help some symptoms. If from the neck down, such as a bad cough, body aches or fever it's time to REST up. Allow your body to recover before you resume your normal routine. The key is to listen to your body and not over do it. If I'm ever sick I always wait until I'm feeling back to normal before I'm back to my normal routine. To me, getting back to soon causing you to stay sick or even get worse is just not worth it to me. Nobody has time to be sick! Stay hydrated and try and make good choices with your diet. This way you won't feel you've taken too many steps back.

“Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
